The capital, Port Louis, is well worth a visit for its heritage and colourful central market. As well as interesting excursions, it is also fascinating to meet the Mauritian people, whose ancestral traditions have been preserved.
On the other side of the island, the beaches stretch for over a hundred kilometres. Rows of coconut palms planted beneath the fine sand offer picture postcard-perfect scenery. There's plenty to do: cultural visits, hiking, water activities and golf.

Our stay with Christophe in Beau Champ was truly amazing from start to finish. The villa itself was absolutely beautiful — spacious, comfortable, and perfectly maintained, with three large bedrooms and three bathrooms that made our stay incredibly relaxing and convenient. We loved having daily housekeeping and the friendly pool maintenance service, which kept everything spotless and in perfect condition throughout our stay. We had access to all the resort’s fantastic amenities — from the kids club, gym, tennis courts, and water sports to the regular shuttle service to Île aux Cerfs, which made exploring the area so easy. We tried everything and enjoyed every moment! It’s truly a dream destination for both golf lovers and families, offering the perfect balance of activity and relaxation. Christophe was an exceptional host. Communication was always smooth, clear, and timely — he answered all our questions before our arrival, stayed in touch during our stay, and even checked in with us after he returned to Europe to make sure everything was going well. The resort staff were also incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We had an unforgettable time here and would highly recommend both Christophe and this stunning villa to anyone considering a stay in Mauritius. Best holidays to date and we have been on so many!
